The King of Fighter XII on PS3.

King of fighter has taken the next evolutionary step with a reworked gameplay, glorious high-resolution 2D graphics, and silky smooth animation. its now been nearly half a decade since The King of fighter was last seen, and The King of fighter XII has arrives just in time to celebrate the franchise’s 15th anniversary.  The fighting game gurus have put the final touches on the Playstation3 release of The King Of Fighter XII.

The game will be available at retail today. July 28th, to the North American market first. The game will release in Asia and Europe later. Now you can battle head to head via Playstation Network to engage players all over the world. There is also a Playstation3 exclusive Clan mode for KOF XII players. A unique feature that allows players with a common goal to band together as a members-only club in order to create the most dominant online Clan possible. There is also an exclusive theme featuring sultry female fighters Elizabeth and Mature for PS3 players.

For those who are not familiar with the KOF series, there is a unique history. In 1994, characters from classic Neo Geo series including Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, and Ikari Warriors were brought together to create a unique and revolutionary three-on-three fighting game known simply as The King Of fighter ‘94 and for the next decade KOF becomes the most beloved fighting game franchises ever.

EVO Fighting Game Championships 2009

EVO is the world’s largest and longest fighting game tournament and this year it was bigger than ever. There were 1000 Die-Hard players alone, which positively exploded EVO’s overall attendance. There were endless waves of people making their way through the conventional hall. it’s an event that truly brings the world community  together.  Capcom setup shop and showed off the latest builds of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Playstation network. Street Fighter 4 was definitely the main event, but Street Fighter 3: third strike, Super Street fighter 2 HD Remix and Capcom 2 vs. Marvel, alnog with Soulcalibour 4 and Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core were also there. How to open a CHM file through your C# application.

This simple tutorial will guide you, how to use a CHM help file with your Microsoft Visual C# projects or even small applications. To use a CHM help manual for your application, you need to first create a CHM help file for your project. After Creating your CHM file, you need to link it thorough your C# application. Let me show you how you can open it from your C# application.

Assuming that you all know how to start a new project on visual studio, I skip all those steps. As you can see above there is simple windows application contains only a single button. Now to open a CHM file by clicking on the “View Help Topics” Button, you have to write a single line code only. Double click on the “View Help Topics” Button and write the code below inside the scope of Button1_Click function.

How to create a CHM Help file for your Software applications.

Creating a help manual for your application makes it easy for user of your application to understand it and use it properly without any external help. Now as we are talking about the help files, Compiled HTML help is a best solution. With Compiled HTML you can create your own eBook or a user manual for your applications.

CHM files are some-what a set of Html type web pages which has a table of content that are hyperlinked. So, lets talk on how you create your own CHM help file or an eBook etc. The steps are as follow:

To create your CHM file you need to have Microsoft Office Word.

Step # 1.

First Create your help document on Microsoft Office Word. It is like creating a normal document. Create Headings for the topics of your file and then add your content for each heading or you can add sub headings. To give a clear idea I have created a sample document in which I use three main headings and two sub headings for each main heading, see picture below.

Step # 2:

Now as you done creating your word document, you have to convert it to a CHM file. To convert it from word file to CHM file you need a DOC to CHM converter, which is easily available on the web. I am using Macrobject’s Word-To-CHM converter to demonstrate you how it would be done. Now let me take the above document and convert it to CHM using the converter.

Complete all required fields and click convert. You will find a yellow question mark icon file, on the destination folder you have given for output CHM file, see below.

Step # 3

Use the converted CHM file wherever you want, for example as a user manual for your application.

Killzone 2 new weapons pack

There is a new downloadable content pack for Killzone 2, called, Napalm and Cordite. The content pack includes two new multiplayer maps, Suljeva Cliffside and Arctower Landing. Suljeva Cliffside is on rocky outskirts of the Suljeva mining village and Arctower revisits the the Arctower defense posts of Blood Meridian. There are two weapons which were previously accessible only thorough the single player campaign, Napalm and Cordite.

Napalm is the the VC1 Flamethrower projects an ignited stream of flammable liquid at high pressure. Consisting of low-octane gasoline and an unidentified component indigenous to Helghan, this form of Napalm is extremely effective for clearing out enemy trenches and bunkers. You will find it in Suljeva Cliffside map. Cordite: The Boltgun 4400. It uses Cordite to propel metal bolts at an extremely high velocity, often pinning its targets to walls and other objects. It also contains a time-delayed explosive charge – so if impalement doesn’t finish the target off, the ensuing explosion will. You will find semi-automatic Boltgun 440 (The Handyman) in the Arctower Landing map.

Aptonic’s Dropzone is a third party file managing tool for OS X. It resides in your dock like other application and allows you to drop your files into it and make your work easy. Now you can Simplify Your Workflow With Dropzone. As Chris Ryan explains it, there is no need to explain further.

Frederic Lefrancois, a producer on Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines gives feedback to the fans. Frederic Lefrancois, is a 3rd party  producer on Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines. According to him the game is developed by Griptonite Studio under the supervision of Ubisoft Montreal’s Assassin’s Creed Core Team. It’s the only game that explains the link between Assassin’s Creed and Assassin’s Creed 2. If you want to understand how Ezio is born and where the Codex comes from, you need this game. Disney Pixar UP Review

 

Disney Pixar Up is a great Old man Carl Fredricken’s  adventure who finally full fills his  life long dream. I really enjoyed the movie. The story is really cool and the combination of a 78-years-old balloon salesman and the 8-years-old Wildness explorer named Russell is awesome. On their journey Carl and Russell meets some other interesting characters including a Bird Kevin named by Russell. This is an extremely rare, 13-foot tall flightless bird, hidden from the world in its remote paradise. After that Russell and Carl meets a talking dog “DUG” who is actually not a talking dog but have a gadget on his collar which translate his thoughts into speech. Dug is a lovable golden mutt, part of the dog pack searching for a rare, flightless bird. If you are tired from your work and want to be fresh then its a great movie to refresh you up. My favorite character in this movie is Russell.

Gran Turismo PSP

 

 

Gran Turismo is highly successful series of racing video games produced for the Sony gamming systems. Gran Turismo PSP was announced at the E3 Sony press conference May 11, 2004. Following five years of delays, it made a reappearance at E3 June 2, 2009 in a playable form. It is selected as one of the launch title for PSP GO.

According to game’s US producers, Chris Hinojosa Miranda and Taku Imasaki they are planning on having 800+ cars right out of the box, which is pretty much a lifetime’s worth of racing. There is a broad selection of cars with 35 different tracks. Unfortunately there is no demo available for Gran Turismo PSP.

For the sake of Gran Turismo level of quality there would be 3 cars on track. Counting you, there would be 4 cars in the race which gives you the best portable racing experience.

Mobile phones are being used as the most important aspect of life. Today you can already use your mobiles to navigate yourself to other places. What if there is something which navigate you inside the building.

Indoor positioning will make it easy to find your way indoor. Your mobile will find the point of interest you are looking for and then guide you there in the building. You can even find your friends when its time to go home. isn’t that exciting?

 

How does this work?

The mobile uses the buildings’ WLAN infrastructure to triangulate your position and then indicates where you are on a building map. Nokia prototypes today can show your location - building section and floor level. They allow you to browse the building, find points of interest and you can even share your position with the people you choose, when you want. Today Nokia has Indoor Positioning trials ongoing within 40 buildings worldwide.

In order to enable indoor positioning in buildings, the indoor positioning solution requires a list of available WLAN access points and their approximate location in the building. Based on this list, which often already exist due to network planning, the indoor position is calculated. Nokia is working on and testing algorithms capable of finding your indoor position to within a few meters.
